HELLO EVERYONE! I know, I know… its been a few days since I’ve written but I promise its been for a good reason. Life has been busy! Infact, life is GREAT! Two of my best friends in the world were visiting from LA for 4 days and I was having a total blast with them. I have been patiently waiting for them to visit for a while and it was well worth the wait. We had so much fun that they want to come back in a few weeks. I gave them a little tour of my new life in Jersey and they loved it.
So they left on Sunday morning and at the same time I hopped on a plane to Florida for the night for a little rendezvous of my own but thats personal mushy stuff that I won’t get into now… but I will say… THAT was a TOTALLY INCREDIBLE TRIP!
I flew back home from Florida tonight and guess what tomorrow is??? ITALY!! AHHHHHH!!!! I’m so excited! Tomorrow is a busy day of packing and of course CARDIO, CARDIO, CARDIO!!
I will admit that I’m kind of freaked out to be away from my cardio machines and weights for 8 days but I’m going to work REALLY HARD at steering clear of all the breads and pastas and make sure I walk a lot or even try to find a gym. I have worked so damn hard at getting 12 lbs off and I have no intention of having to work that hard again to lose the SAME 12 lbs! NO NO NO!!
Well, its time for me to get to bed. I just wanted to check in before I leave. I’m not bringing my lap top so this really is a VACATION!! I’ll be sure to snap lots of pictures too!
Take care!

Off to ITALY!!
Tuesday, September 18th, 2007NYC – HERE I COME!
Monday, September 10th, 2007Hello Everyone! Its Monday, Sept 10 and I just got home from work. I’m going to get ready to hit the gym in a bit but I wanted to stop by to say hello. This weekend was busy (and lots of fun) so I didn’t get a chance to stop in. I was in NYC all day on Sunday looking at apartments to rent. We checked out the SoHo / Tribeca area. I’m not moving into the city but I figured that maybe I would check out places to rent for the weekends. The city is such a wonderful place to hangout and do things so I thought maybe if I had to a place to stay all the time I would be able to spend lots more time there. Well, we saw about 6 places and nothing really thrilled us. For what the rent is, we would like somewhere that we at least feel comfortable. Anyway, we finally walked into a place what was AWESOME! Exposed brick walls, a great view, nice dark wood floors and high ceilings. Well… it was ALMOST perfect… except for the fact that it $6400 a month! I just can’t see myself spending that money for a weekend place. That’s not including utilities and the money to furnish it! Forget it! We’ll keep looking. Until then, here is my plan…. I’m going to stay in the city at a hotel every other weekend for three days in a row the entire fall (when I’m not in Italy and South Africa, of course) and each time I’ll stay in a different area at a different hotel. This way I’ll get to check out all the areas and see where I really want to be. I already booked my first weekend when I get back from Italy. My girlfriend and I are staying at The Hudson, an AMAZING hotel ( www.hudsonhotel.com ) and we are SOOO excited!! We are also meeting two more girls in the city (my friend has a twin sister) and we’re going to make a girls weekend out of it! We can’t wait!! Its a 3 day weekend so we’re going in Sat early and staying until Monday. We figure Sat shopping and then happy hour and out at night and then Sunday brunch and bars to watch some football games and then out again Sunday night. I’m going to take LOTS of pictures! I am also going to make sure that each hotel I stay at has a gym so I don’t miss cardio workouts. Things have been great with my workouts so I don’t want to start messing anything up.
Ok, I’m off and running again… time for the gym!

US Open 2007
Friday, September 7th, 2007Its Friday and I’m writing on my lunch break. I actually went food shopping first because my house was pretty empty as far as food was concerned but now I have a nice little stock of food. I’m so happy its the weekend again. I have so much to do. This week was a SUPER short week for me anyway since there was no work on Monday and Tuesday I was at the US Open.
Tuesday was a LONG day. I got to the train station at 8am and it was packed. I got to NYC and then walked to Times Square to meet my Dad. We went to breakfast and then hopped on the Subway 7 train to the US Open. It was SO hot and SO sunny! We checked out some junior matches and walked around a bit and then we went to the SFX suite (Andy Roddick’s agents) where they had food and it was air conditioned. We got to watch some men’s singles matches and I sat outside the suite in the seats over looking the court in the stadium. OMG, I got SOOO burned! I might have the ugliest farmers tan on my arms EVER!! I have stayed out of the sun the ENTIRE summer and then in just one day I have completely fried my arms. Even my scalp got burned. Gross! It hurts to brush my hair. So anyway, we had a really nice day. I was going to go to Andy’s match the next night but I decided not to. I figured it wasn’t going to start until so late and I didn’t want to be taking the train home at 2am. Well, thank the lord I decided that because his match didn’t start until 10pm!! I watched from my bed and I was a very happy camper. Andy didn’t win the match but he played incredible! He happened to play a guy, Federer, who I think is the best player of all time so just the fact that Andy took him to two tie breaks says a lot about Andy’s game. The match was so fun to watch. Now THAT was GREAT TENNIS!! Andy’s agent had told me if he won that match he would put me in his box for the next one but since he didn’t win I guess there’s always next time.
So I snapped a few funny shots at the Open. As you can tell I can act like such a goof ball.
The picture of the crowd will show you where the SFX suite was. Its the box of seats right under the Lexus sign. There is a glass door in back of the seats where there is an inside sitting area with food and tv’s. Its pretty neat. So that is where I watched some matches from.
Well, enjoy the weekend! We have some great weather here so I know I will.

Its A Long Holiday Weekend For Me
Tuesday, September 4th, 2007What a CRAZZZZY busy weekend! I moved into my new house and it was a lot of work to get things set up. The house looks so great. We fixed it up like crazy and it looks like a new house. I just love it. Its perfect for my doggies and I. The only thing is, its REALLY, REALLY empty. I dont mind though. It has everything I need… a bed, my closet of clothes, my nice bathroom, kitchen with bare essentials, coffee machine, cardio machine, tv’s, kitchen table and internet. I’m all set!
Today I did cardio on my ALL TIME FAVORITE MACHINE… my best cardio buddy in the world, my crossrobics machine. Its such a wonderful machine. Its a cross between cardio and weight training. Its a great multi-functional machine. It has been from Cali, to Florida, back to Cali and now New Jersey. I would say that machine has seen its share of the US. Anyway, I jumped on it today and HOLY COW. It sounds like a squeaky dying cat. It lived outside in LA for 2 years and I have never done any type of maintenance to it. Well, it was time! So today my brother, who is VERY handy and awesome with cars, took it apart and lubed it all up for me. It was really cool to take it apart and see what the inside looked like. Now its back to being quiet as a mouse.
Tomorrow I’m leaving early in the morning to head into the city to meet my dad and then we are going to the US Open. I can’t wait. I’m also going to get tickets for Wed night. Andy Roddick is playing then (I’m almost positive) and I would love to catch one of his matches live. Then I think I’m going again Saturday night. We’ll see what happens.
Well, I’m off to watch the Federer US Open match tonight. I love watching good tennis… and that guys is PRETTY DAMN GOOD!
Here’s my little cardio set up… don’t pay attention to the blue tape on the wall. I still have to figure out where I’m putting the DVR box and all the wires. I know it looks ugly right now. I did something cool. I put velcro on my TV remote and stuck it to my machine so when I’m not using it, I can stick it there and always know where it is.

Good night!
